consequently directing the 1st respondent to issue joint patta by including the legal heirs of K.Perumal Naicker, K.Jangal Naicker, C.Kaveti Naicker, K.Bommi Naicker by considering the petitioner's representation/appeal dated 21.02.2025.

ORDER

The petitioner seeks limited relief of issuance of a Writ of Mandamus to direct the first respondent to pass orders on the petitioner's application for cancellation of patta standing in the name of the respondents 2 to 5.

2. I have heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.M.Lingadurai, learned Government Advocate appearing for the first respondent.

3. Admittedly, the petitioner has preferred an appeal in this regard on 21.02.2025 and the same is pending with the first respondent. In the 2/4

light of the above, it would suffice to dispose of the writ petition directing the first respondent to hear the petitioner and the respondents 2 to 5 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, disposing of the petitioner's appeal dated 21.02.2025, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
