O R D E R

[Order of the Court was made by R.SUBRAMANIAN, J.] Mr.P.Thilakkumar, learned Government Pleader, takes notice for the respondents 1 to 5.

2. Considering the nature of the prayer, notice to the sixth respondent is deemed unnecessary.

3. With the consent of both sides, this writ petition is taken up for final hearing at the admission stage itself.

4. Prayer in this writ petition reads as follows" "For the reasons stated in the main accompanying affidavit, the petitioner most respectfully pray that this Honourable Court by this Writ Petition praying to issue Writ of Mandamus or any other Writ or Direction or Order in the nature of Writ, directing the respondents to take necessary action to prevent the use of Cone-type-speaker at Arulmigu Sri Kannan Temple situating at Nallirukkai village in Keelakkarai Taluk, Ramanathapuram District, within the time stipulated by this Honourable Court and pass such further and other orders as this Hon'ble Court and pass such further and other orders as this Hon'ble Court may deem fit and proper in the circumstances of the case and thus render justice."

5. It is seen from the records that Sub Inspector of Police, Uthirakosamangai Police Station, has enquired the petitioner regarding his complaint on the use of cone speakers in the temple. The Inspector of Police, Uthirakosamangai Police Station, has been impleaded as fourth respondent.

6. There will be a direction to the Inspector of Police, Uthirakosamangai Police station, to look into the grievance of the petitioner and redress the same in the manner known to law within a period of four months from the date of receipt of the copy of this order.

7. The writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
