[Order of the Court was made by R.SUBRAMANIAN, J.] Mr.K.Selvaganesan, learned Additional Government Pleader, takes notice for the respondents.

2. With the consent of both sides, this writ petition is taken up for final hearing at the admission stage itself.

3. The prayer in this writ petition reads as follows: "For the reasons stated in the accompanying affidavit, It is therefore prayed that this Hon'ble Court may be pleased to issue a WRIT OF MANDAMUS, order or direction in the nature of writ, directing the respondents 1 to 3 to not to relocate or shift the 4th respondent Co-operative Credit Society to Devinaickenpatti Village, Dindigul District or to any other place and further directing the respondents to renovate the existing building of the 4th respondent society."

4. The apprehension of the petitioner is wholly unjustified in the light of the communication addressed by the Deputy Registrar of Co-operative Societies bearing Na.Ka.No.2636/2021/Pu.Vi dated 10.02.2023, wherein, it has been made clear that the authorities are only contemplating opening a new branch of the fourth respondent Society in a different village and there is no proposal to

either shift or close down the fourth respondent Society. Hence, this writ petition is dismissed. No costs.
