ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed for the issue of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the third respondent to consider the application submitted by the petitioner and to issue computer patta in the name of the petitioner with respect to the subject properties.

2. The case of the petitioner is that he had inherited the subject properties and his name has also been mutated in the revenue records. According to the petitioner, he was issued with a computer patta insofar as some of the properties are concerned and insofar as the other properties, his name has not been 1/3

uploaded and hence, no computer patta was issued in the name of the petitioner. The petitioner made a representation in this regard to the third respondent and the same did not evoke any response. Left with no other option, the present Writ Petition has been filed before this Court seeking for appropriate directions.

3.The learned Government Advocate (Civil) appearing on behalf of the respondents submitted that the third respondent, on receipt of the representation, has already started the process and the petitioner will be informed about the decision taken within the time stipulated by this Court.

4. Heard Mrs.S.Bhuvaneswari, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.N.Shanmugavel, learned Government Advocate (Civil) appearing on behalf of the respondents.

5. Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and also the fact that the third respondent has already started the process of considering the application made by the petitioner, there shall be a direction to the third respondent to conduct an enquiry and convey the decision to the petitioner within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. The Writ Petition stands disposed of with the above directions. No costs.
