O R D E R

[Order of the Court was made by D.KRISHNAKUMAR, J.] The petitioner has filed this Habeas Corpus Petition, directing the respondents to produce the body or person of his father namely, M.Selvaraj, S/o.Marimuthu, aged about 60 years, before this Court and set him at liberty.

2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the detenu / petitioner's father is a retired Anganwadi Noon Meal Organiser and since his wife was suffering from brain cancer, the detenu was in lamentation about his wife's health condition. On 26.04.2022, the detenu was found missing. Hence, the petitioner lodged a complaint before the second respondent Police on 28.04.2022 and an FIR was https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

H.C.P. (MD) No. 708 of 2022 registered under the caption "man missing". Since the detenu is not yet secured, this petition is filed.

3. Today, the detenu is produced before this Court by the respondents / Police. We enquired the detenu. The detenu would state that due to his wife's health condition, he was mentally depressed and went out of the house. He would further state that now, he is willing to go along with his son / petitioner.

4. Recording the above statement made by the detenu, this Habeas Corpus Petition is closed.
