The writ petitioner filed this Writ Petition seeking for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to grant permission and necessary protection to conduct the "Adal Padal" programme on 19.04.2023 at 06.00 p.m to 11.00 p.m in connection with "Thiru Vizha" of Arulmigu Sri Muthu Mariamman Thirukovil at R.Balakkurichi Village, Ponnamaravathi Taluk, Pudukkottai District. 2.Mr.R.Suresh Kumar, learned Government Advocate (Crl. side), takes notice for the respondents. By consent, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself. 3.It is brought to the notice of this Court that on 08.04.2023, a murder took place in such a type of event in Keeranur Sub Division. Therefore, there shall be a direction to the respondents to reject the petitioner's representation without any reference to this Court. 4.With the above directions, this writ petition is dismissed. No costs.
