The petitioner filed a writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents 1 and 2 to consider the petitioner's representation, dated 21.06.2020 and pass appropriate orders in the issue of preparing panel for the post of Director, Institute of Anaesthesiology, Madurai Medical College, Madurai on the basis of seniority in the cadre of Associate Professor without any reference to Civil Medical List seniority, within a reasonable time limit.

2. During the pendency of the writ petition, the petitioner's name was subsequently included as per order of the second respondent in Ref.No. 32859/E1/3/2022, dated 25.06.2022 and hence, nothing survives for further adjudication. The said copy of the order produced before this Court is placed on record.
