Respondents Prayer :- Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to disburse the final amount of Rs.8,59,597/- with interest for executing the work of improvement of cement concrete payment of Anna Bus Stand, Nagercoil, Kanyakumari District, based on the communication of the second respondent had passed an order in Na.Ka.No.,1/16619/2015, dated 10.10.2018, pass orders within the time stipulated by this Court. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner, the learned Special Government Pleader for the first respondent and the learned Standing Counsel for the second respondent.

2. The petitioner is a contractor. He had done some works for the second respondent-Corporation. His contention is that the amount payable to him has not been disbursed. Hence, this writ petition has been filed.

3. I do not want to go into the exact entitlement of the writ petitioner. In other words, the amount payable to the writ petitioner is not quantified by this Court. But the second respondent will consider all the materials on record and quantify the same and disburse it to the writ petitioner within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a

copy of this order. If the petitioner is still having any grievance, it is always open to him to move this Court again for relief.
