The writ petitioner filed this Writ Petition seeking for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the Respondents to grant necessary permission and provide adequate Police Protection for conducting the village Cultural Program on 15.04.2023 at about 07.00 PM to 11.00 PM as part of temple festival of Vettaikarasamy and Periyakaruppasamy Temple at Alavayal, Ponnamaravathi Taluk, Pudukkottai District, by considering petitioner's representation dated 06.04.2023. 2.Mr.R.Sureshkumar, learned Government Advocate (Crl. side), takes notice for the respondents.

3.It is brought to the notice of this Court that on 08.04.2023, a murder took place in such a type of event in Keeranur Sub Division. Therefore, there shall be a direction to the respondents to reject the petitioner's representation without any reference to this Court. 2/4

4.With the above directions, this writ petition is dismissed. No costs.
