ORDER
This writ petition has been filed for the issue of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the second respondent to subdivide the subject properties to issue a separate patta in the name of the petitioner based on the representation made by the petitioner on 03.05.2021.
2. Today, when the matter was taken up for admission, the learned Government Advocate (Civil) appearing on behalf of the respondents 1 and 2 would submit that the first respondent has already directed the second respondent to conduct an enquiry and to take a decision. Pursuant to the directions issued by the first respondent, the second respondent has started the process and the learned Government Advocate (Civil) submitted that some time limit may be fixed by this Court for completion of the enquiry and for https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

3. Heard Mr.R.Murugappan, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.M.Lingadurai, learned Government Advocate (Civil) appearing for the respondents 1 and 2.
4. Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and also of the fact that the second respondent has already acted upon the representation made by the petitioner, there shall be a direction to the second respondent to proceed further with the enquiry after granting opportunity to the petitioner and the third respondent and deal with the same on its own merits and in accordance with law and take a decision within a period of eight
(08) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5. This Writ Petition stands disposed of with the above directions. No costs.
