PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for the issue of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to give power supply connection to the petitioner's property in Naganakulam Village, Narayanapuram Main Road, Madurai North Taluk, Madurai in Survey No.382/2 in UDR Survey No.15/2.

ORDER

Mr.S.M.S.Johny Basha, learned Counsel takes notice for the respondents.

2. The petitioner seeks for a Mandamus directing the respondents to give power supply connection to the petitioner's property in Naganakulam Village, Narayanapuram Main Road, Madurai North Taluk, Madurai in Survey No.382/2 in UDR Survey No.15/2.

3. It appears that the petitioner has made a representation on 02.12.2015 seeking for grant of such power connection. It is stated that the said representation is still pending. Therefore without expressing any view on the claim made by the petitioner, I only direct the second respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner and pass orders on the same on merits and in accordance with law within a period of three weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. With the above directions, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
