O R D E R

This application is filed seeking for a direction, directing the Respondents to provide necessary police protection to the petitioner and his family members based on the petitioner's representation, dated 29.06.2018 in accordance with law. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

2.According to the petitioner, he made a representation dated 29.06.2018 to the respondents 1 & 2 to give police protection to the petitioner and his family members. As no order has been passed in the said representation, the petitioner has filed the present Criminal Original Petition with the aforesaid prayer.

3.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) appearing for the respondents would submit that the representation of the petitioner is pending with the second respondent and the same will be considered in accordance with law.

4.In the light of the above, without expressing any opinion on merits, this Court directs the second respondent to consider the petitioner's representation, dated 29.06.2018 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible, preferably, within a period of one week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, if necessary, providing an opportunity to the parties concerned.

5.With the above direction, the Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
