ORDER
(Order of the Court was made by R.SURESH KUMAR, J.) The prayer in this WMP(MD)No.6651 of 2026 is to implead the proposed respondents as respondents 10 and 11 in the main writ petition.
2. Heard Mr.H.Arumugam, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner. The petitioner wants to implead the 10th and 11th respondents herein as party respondents in the main writ petition.
3. The learned counsel would submit that in order to establish that a bridge has been constructed in the disputed areas which has only a recent origin and by demonstrating the same, the main prayer sought for by the petitioner would get strengthened is his contention.
4. In the main writ petition, the disputed lands belonged to the temple cannot be converted into a pathway for the private respondent in order to create an access to his private land to develop it as a housing plots.
3/6
5. If that is his main prayer, no way the bridge constructed by the 10th respondent or any other authority would be helpful to project his case further effectively in the main writ petition. Therefore, the present attempt made by the petitioner to implead the proposed parties as 10th and 11th respondents in the main writ petition is an unwarranted exercise as they are not the necessary parties to decide the lis between the parties in the main writ petition. Therefore, we are inclined to dismiss this petition.
6. Accordingly, this petition is dismissed.
