ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The respondent police registered a case as against the petitioner in Crime No.52 of 2024 for the offence under Sections 294(b), 447, 427, 324 and 506(ii) IPC. Therefore, the petitioner has filed this petition seeking anticipatory bail.
2. The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner and other accused abused 1/3
the defacto complainant in filthy language, threatened him and also attacked him with wooden log.
3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is an innocent person and he has not committed any offence as alleged by the prosecution. Hence, he prays for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
4. The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondent strongly opposes to grant bail on the ground that the petitioner is having 17 previous cases.
5. Considering the nature of offence and considering the antecedents of the petitioner, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
6. Accordingly, this Petition is dismissed.
