PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C. praying to direct the District Sessions Judge cum PCR Court, Srivilliputhur at Virudhunagar District to consider the petitioners bail application and dispose the bail application on the same day, if the petitioners surrender before the learned District Sessions Judge cum PCR Court, at Srivilliputhur in Cr.No.69 of 2016 on the file of the respondent.

ORDER

This application has been filed seeking a direction to the Court, which is dealing with the SC/ST Act cases to consider the bail application on the day of surrender itself.

2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) for the respondent. 3.The learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that the 18 accused persons have been selected at random and a case has been registered against them and there is no specific allegations against each of the accused persons. It is pointed out that the allegations are very general and vague.

4.The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) would submit that only there are two injured and both of them have been discharged from the hospital.

5.Under such circumstances, the District Sessions Judge cum PCR Court, at Srivilliputhur, Virudhunagar District is directed to consider the bail application of the petitioners and pass orders on merits on the same day of their surrender.
