ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction against the respondent police to provide police protection to the petitioner's life and limb, based on his representation dated 11.04.2023.

2. The petitioner claims to be the mother-in-law of the 4th respondent and she is claiming police protection as against the daughterin-law. Since the petition was also enquired by the police and the same was closed and the matter arises out of the matrimonial discord, this is not a case where the petitioner can be given police protection throughout. If there is any threat or any incident, liberty is preserved to the petitioner to report before the jurisdictional police and appropriate action will be taken depending on the veracity and truth of the complaint. With such liberty preserved to the petitioner, this Criminal Original Petition is closed.
