Respondents PRAYER : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing against the respondents 2 and 3 to remove the name of the landlord Renganatha Gupta and include the names of the cultivating tenants / writ petitioners in the tenancy register maintained by the second and third respondents as per the order of the first respondent in P.No.265/62, dated 25.08.1962.

Mr.S.Nagarajan, learned Special Government Pleader, takes notice for the respondents.
2. By consent of both parties, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself.
3. Though the petitioners have made representations to the second respondent seeking to remove the name of the landlord i.e. Renganatha Gupta and include the names of the cultivating tenants / writ petitioners in the tenancy register maintained by the respondents 2 and 3 as per the order of the first respondent, in P.No.265/62, dated 25.08.1962, the same have not been considered. Hence, the present writ petition has been filed.
4. Since the petitioners have given individual representations on different dates, it would be appropriate to direct them to give a consolidated representation ventilating their grievances. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
5. In the light of the above observations, the petitioners are
granted liberty to give a fresh representation to the second respondent ventilating their grievances and on receipt of such representation, the second respondent shall consider the same on its own merits and take further action in accordance with law. Such an exercise shall be done after giving due opportunity to the petitioners as well as to the persons who may be interested in the subject matter, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
6. With the above directions, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
