Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to rectify the defects crept in the revenue records relating to the land in Survey No.240/9-Neerethan Village, Vadipatti Taluk, Madurai District, by complying the communication of the second respondent in Na.Ka.No.44920/2017/LR1, dated 12.02.2018 sought for clarification of the third and fourth respondents in this regard. O R D E R

Mr.V.Anand, learned Government Advocate, takes notice for the respondents 1 to 4. Notice to the fifth respondent is dispensed with in view of nature of the order to be passed by this Court.

2. By consent of both parties, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself.

3. According to the learned counsel for the petitioner, certain defects have been crept in the revenue records relating to the petitioner's property comprised in Survey No.240/9 of Neerethan Village, Vadipatti Taluk, Madurai District and in order to rectify https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

the same, he has made a representation, dated 04.09.2017 to the second respondent and based on his representation, the second respondent, by letter dated 12.02.2018, had also addressed the third respondent calling for a report with regard to the action taken in this regard. However, the third respondent has not responded for the same and hence, the present writ petition has been filed.

4. In my view, ends of justice would be met, if a direction is given to the petitioner to give a fresh representation to the third respondent ventilating his grievance.

5. Accordingly, the petitioner is granted liberty to make a fresh representation to the third respondent ventilating his grievance and on receipt of such representation, the third respondent shall consider the same on its own merits and take further action in accordance with law. Such an exercise shall be done after giving due opportunity to the petitioner as well as to the persons who may be interested in the subject matter, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. With the above directions, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
