The present writ petition has been filed for a Mandamus to direct the first respondents herein to approve the implementation of the revision of pay scale at Rs.3200-85-4900 with effect from 01.07.1997 as per G.O. (MS) No.2D (16) Tamil Development Religious Endowment and Information (AN4-1) Department dated 27.02.2009 and disburse arrears to the petitioner in light of judgments in W.P.No.13137 of 2013, dated 03.06.2013, W.P(MD).No.24176 of 2018, dated 18.10.2019 and W.P.No. 33005 of 2016, dated 22.09.2022 by considering the petitioner's representation dated 18.12.2025.
2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the 2/5
petitioner's claim is to implement the G.O.(MS) No.2D (16) Tamil Development Religious Endowment and Information (AN4-1) Department, dated 27.02.2009. The said G.O. was passed based on the order passed by this Court in W.P.(MD) No.13137 of 2023 dated 03.06.2013. Hence, he seeks direction to extend the relief to the petitioner.
3. The learned Government Advocate appearing for the first respondent, however, submitted that the petitioner's claim ought to be scrutinized separately based on his eligibility.
4. Heard the learned counsel on either side and perused the records.

In view of the submission made by the learned Government Advocate, this Court, without expressing any opinion on merits, directs the first respondent to consider the petitioner's claim and pass orders in accordance with law within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. However, while considering the 3/5
petitioner's claim, the first respondent shall take into consideration the earlier orders passed by this Court mentioned above as well as G.O.(MS) No.2D (16) Tamil Development Religious Endowment and Information (AN4-1) Department, dated 27.02.2009.
6. With the above directions, this Writ Petition is allowed. No costs.
