PRAYER: Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to grant permission and protection for the "Aadal Padal Dance" programme on 28.07.2018 at about 09.00 PM to 12.00 AM in the eve of Arulmigu Sri Kottaimadasami Temple Festival at Thippanampatti, Tenkasi Taluk, Tirunelveli District on the basis of the representation given by the petitioner, dated 25.06.2018. ******** This writ petition has been filed seeking to direct respondents to grant permission and protection for the "Aadal Padal Dance" programme on 28.07.2018 at about 09.00 PM to 12.00 AM in the eve of Arulmigu Sri Kottaimadasami Temple Festival at Thippanampatti, Tenkasi Taluk, Tirunelveli District on the basis of the representation given by the petitioner, dated 25.06.2018. 2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.

3.According to the petitioner, he made a representation dated 25.06.2018 to the respondents to grant permission and protection for conducting "Aadal Padal Dance" programme on 28.07.2018 at about 09.00 PM to 12.00 AM in the eve of Arulmigu Sri Kottaimadasami Temple Festival at Thippanampatti, Tenkasi https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

Taluk, Tirunelveli District. As no order has been passed in the said representation, the petitioner has filed this writ petition with the aforesaid prayer.

4.The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submitted that the petitioner's representation is still pending with the second respondent. Therefore, this Court may pass appropriate orders to consider the petitioner's representation on merits and in accordance with law. 5.Considering the submission made by both parties, this Court directs the second respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 25.06.2018 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law on or before 25.07.2018. 6.With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
