O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed seeking direction to the respondents to grant permission and necessary police protection to perform the cultural programme (ie.,) Adal Padal Dance Programme on 14.07.2018 at 7.00 pm to 12.00pm in the festival of Arulmighu Sri Aathi Veera Maakaliamman Thirukovil at Kotha Theru, Madurai Mukku, Sivagangai Town, Sivagangai District based on the petitioner's representation dated 21.06.2018.

2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents. 3.The learned Government Advocate submitted that the petitioner's application has been rejected on the ground that the petitioner seeks permission for conducting Aadal Padal cultural programme in the Madurai to Thondi main road, which cannot be granted.

4.The learned counsel for the petitioner undertook that the place of conducting Aadal Padal program will be changed and he will not conduct the programme in the Madurai to Thondi Main Road. 5.In view of the above submissions, this Court is inclined to pass the following order:

The petitioner is directed to give a fresh application with additional particulars to the respondent to identify the place of conducting Aadal Padal Programme on or before 06.07.2018. If such application being received, the respondent is directed to consider the petitioner's application and pass orders on or before 09.07.2018 on merits and in accordance with law.

6. With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
