To grant direction, directing respondents 1 to 3 to provide adequate police protection for the Petitioner and his family members for leading a peaceful life in agricultural land from Tamilnadu Government under special scheme for handing over land to landless poor farming families, 2006 and also for protection of life of the petitioner and his family members, based on his representation dated 29.07.2020.

O R D E R

The petitioner herein filed Crl.O.P.(MD)No.10737 of 2020 seeking police protection. This Court disposed of the said O.P. by directing the investigation officer to file final report in Crime No.191 of 2020. Alleging that this direction has not been complied with, this contempt petition came to be filed.

2. When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate(Crl. Side) has produced a copy of the final report filed in the said case. A positive report has been filed https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

CONT.P.(MD)No.840 of 2021 IN arraying one Manickam and Jeyaraman as accused. It is stated that final report was filed on 26.07.2021 before the learned Special Judge, PCR Court, Sivagangai.

3. The learned Special Judge is directed to take a call on the final report as early as possible. The learned Government Advocate is directed to serve a copy of the final report on the petitioner's counsel. This contempt petition is closed.
