ORDER

This petition has been filed seeking a direction to the 2nd respondent not to interfere with the matrimonial dispute and not to conduct "Kattapanchayat"on the basis of the alleged complaint given by the 3rd respondent.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioners and the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the State.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that the 2nd respondent frequently called the petitioners and harassed them under the guise of enquiry.

4. When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Criminal side) on instructions, would submit that both the parties have appeared for enquiry and since the dispute between the parties is purely family dispute, the 2nd respondent advised both the parties to work out their remedy through Civil Court and closed the complaint. He also produced a copy of the closure report before this Court. Hence, the allegation made by the petitioners that they are being harassed at the hands of the respondent police is incorrect and the same is denied.

5. Recording the submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Criminal side), the Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.
