enquiry of the petitioner's petition dated 18.09.2024 and to direct the respondents 1 and 2 to rectify the joint patta no.572 for the property at S.No.86/1 to an extent of 4 Acre 91 cents is situated in T.Veppankulam, Kadaladi Taluk, Ramanathapuram District by removing the names of the respondents 3 to 5 and to issue the patta in the name of the legal heirs of Muthu Thevar.

ORDER

The petitioner seeks issuance of a Writ of Mandamus to direct the first respondent to conclude the enquiry launched on the petitioner's application regarding rectification of joint patta No.472 by removing the name of the respondents 3 to 5 and 2 and issue patta in the names of the legal heirs of Muthu Thevar.

2. I have heard Mr.N.Vijayalakshmi, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.S.Kameswaran, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents 1 & 2.

Considering the limited relief sought for in the writ petition, the writ petition is disposed of directing the first respondent to conclude pending enquiry based on the petitioner's application dated 18.09.2024, after hearing the petitioner as well as the respondents 3 to 5. The first respondent shall pass final orders, on merits and in accordance with law within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
