RESPONDENT/COMPLAINANT Petition praying that in the circumstances stated therein and in the petition filed therewith the High Court will be pleased to extend the time limit granted by this Hon`ble Court with regard to the execution of sureties in the order of Anticipatory Bail in Crl.O.P(MD)No.5949 of 2020 vide its order dated 12.06.2020. Order : This petition coming on for orders upon perusing the petition filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of MR.M.PITCHAI MUTHU, Advocate for the petitioner and of MR.K.SUYAMBULINGA BHARATHI, Government Advocate(Crl. Side) on behalf of the Respondent, the court made the following order:- This Court, by order dated 12.06.2020, in Crl.O.P.(MD)No.5949 of 2020, directed the petitioner to appear and execute a bond for a sum of Rs.
10,000/- [Rupees Ten Thousand only] before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Vadipatti, Madurai District. According to the petitioner, due to lock down owing to COVID-19 pandemic situation, the petitioner was not able to arrange the sureties, within the time stipulated by this Court and hence, the present petition has been filed seeking extension of time.
2. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Criminal Miscellaneous Petition is ordered and time granted by this Court vide order dated 12.06.2020 in Crl.O.P.(MD)No.5949 of 2020 is extended by two weeks from today, subject to payment of Rs.5,000/- [Rupees Five Thousand only] to the credit of 'the Nalmanam, No.1/23, 1st Street, South High Court Colony, Boys Home', https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2
