Respondent PRAYER: Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent to issue death certificate of the petitioner's mother namely, Jamruth Beevi and her father Oomani @ Pakir Ravuthar.

Mr.R.Prabhu Ramachandran, learned counsel takes notice for the respondent. By consent of parties, the main Writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal.

2.The petitioner seeks for a direction to the respondent to issue death certificate of the petitioner's mother namely, Jamruth Beevi and her father Oomani @ Pakir Ravuthar.

3.It appears that the petitioner has already approached the respondent and made a representation on 15.12.2015. Therefore, it is for the respondent to consider the said representation and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law.

4.Accordingly, without expressing any view on the claim made by the petitioner, this Writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 15.12.2015 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of 4 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
