RESPONDENT/RESPONDENT Petition praying that in the circumstances stated therein and in the petition filed therewith the High Court will be pleased to extend the time for compliance of the orders passed by this Hon`ble Court on 17.07.2020 in Crl.O.P(MD)No. 7486 of 2020. Order : This petition coming on for orders upon perusing the petition filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of Mr.K.M.KARUNAKARAN, Advocate for the petitioner and of MR.K.SUYAMBULINGA BHARATHI, Government Advocate(Crl. Side) on behalf of the Respondent, the court made the following order:- This Court, by order dated 17.07.2020, in Crl.O.P.(MD)No.7486 of 2020, directed the petitioner to appear before the learned District Munsif -cum- Judicial Magistrate, Papanasam, Thanjavur District and execute a bond for a sum of Rs.
50,000/- [Rupees Fifty Thousand only] with two sureties, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of the said order. The petitioner was also directed to deposit a sum of Rs.15,000/- [Rupees Fifteen Thousand only] to the credit of Cancer Institute (WIA), No.38, Sardar Patel Road, Adyar, Chennai-20, within a period of one week. According to the petitioner, due to his illness, he was unable to comply with the conditions, within the stipulated time and now, he has deposited the said sum of Rs.15,000/- [Rupees Fifteen Thousand only] on 12.08.2020. The learned counsel submitted that since there was a delay in depositing the amount, the learned Magistrate concerned has not accepted the sureties. Hence, the present petition has been filed seeking extension of time.

2. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, delay in depositing the amount is condoned and the time granted by this Court vide order dated 17.07.2020 in Crl.O.P.(MD)No.7486 of 2020 is extended by two weeks from today.
3. Accordingly, this Criminal Miscellaneous Petition is ordered.
