(Order of the Court was made by N.SATHISH KUMAR, J.) Challenging the impugned order dated 09.02.2026 passed by the first respondent, the petitioner has filed the present Writ Petition, along with a consequential prayer to restrain the respondents from making any claim 2/5

over any demarcated portion as "Nilaviyal Salai" in Survey No.76/4C, comprised in a total extent of 0.08.00 hectares in Survey No.76/4, situated at Alagapuri Village, Thiruvengadam Taluk, Tenkasi District. 2.When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents, on instructions, submitted that the petitioner has already filed a revision as against the order of the District Collector before the Government. 3.In view of the fact that the petitioner has already availed the statutory remedy of revision before the competent authority, the present Writ Petition is not maintainable. Even otherwise, if no such revision had been filed, the petitioner is at liberty to prefer a revision before the appropriate authority under Section 10(A)(1)(C) of the Tamil Nadu Land Encroachment Act, 1905, and seek appropriate interim relief. 3/5
