ORDER

The writ petition has been filed in the nature of mandamus, seeking a direction against the second and third respondents/Tahsildar, Thirumaiyam and the Surveyor, Thirumaiyam, both at Pudukottai District, to consider the application of the petitioner, dated 02.08.2022, which was again represented on 08.02.2023, to survey the land and fix the boundaries for the land comprised in S.No.128/24A3 at Lempalakudi Village, Thirumaiyam Circle, Pudukkottai District.

2.In the affidavit filed in support of the writ petition, it had been stated that the petitioner had purchased the aforementioned property measuring 5.5cents and comprised in plot Nos.15 and 21 by a sale deed, registered as Doc.No.1538 of 2005 in the Office of Sub Registrar, Thirumayam. She had applied for survey of the land. Since the said application was not responded, the present writ petition has been filed. 2/5

3.Heard, Mr.J.Sulthan Basha, learned counsel, who appears for the petitioner and Mr.D.S.Nedunchezhian, learned Government Advocate, who appears for the respondents.

4.A direction is given to the second and third respondents to consider the application of the petitioner and proceed further to survey the land, if there is no impediment. The entire exercise should be completed within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 5.With the above directions, this Writ Petition stands disposed. No costs.
