This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent to expedite the investigation in Crime No.714 of 2023, dated 16.12.2023 and to file the final report. 2.When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent police submitted that based on the complaint lodged by the petitioner, the respondent police registered an FIR in Crime No. 714 of 2023 and for the same, investigation is in progress. Hence, he seeks one month time to file final report before the jurisdictional Magistrate Court. 3.Considering the limited prayer sought for in this petition and the respondent police also seeks one month time to file final report, the respondent police is directed to file final report before the jurisdictional Magistrate Court, within a period of one month from the date of this order.

4.With the above direction, this criminal original petition stands disposed of.
