ORDER

Alleging wilful disobedience of the order passed by this Court dated 02.09.2022 in W.P.(MD)No.5179 of 2020, this Contempt Petition has been filed.

2. When the matter was taken up for hearing today, it is submitted by the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents herein that as against the order passed in the Writ Petition, the respondents have filed an intra-court appeal in W.A.(MD).No.1909 of 2023 and an order of interim stay has been granted in C.M.P.(MD).No.14680 of 2023 vide order dated 01.11.2023. While that being so, it would not be appropriate for this Court to parallely adjudicate the present Contempt Petition.

3. Accordingly, the Contempt Petition stands closed with liberty to the petitioner to work out his remedies subject to the final outcome of the Writ Appeal.
