ORDER

This petition has been filed to quash the proceedings in Crime No. 14 of 2017 on the file of the first respondent police station.

2. When the matter came up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) appearing for the first respondent, on instructions, would submit that investigation in Crime No.14 of 2017 has been completed and charge sheet has also been filed and the same was taken on file in Spl.S.C.No.40 of 2024 by the learned Principal District Judge, Sivagangai. Therefore, nothing survives for further adjudication in this petition.

3. Recording the submission of the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side), this Criminal Original Petition is closed preserving the liberty to the petitioner to challenge the final report filed by the first respondent in Crime No.14 of 2017 in the manner known to law.
