This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to direct the learned Judicial Magistrate, Fast Track Court, Nagercoil, Kanyakumari District, to expedite the trial in S.T.C.No.225 of 2018 within a time stipulated by this Court. 2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner herein filed a case against this respondent under Section 138 of the Negotiable Instruments Act and the same was taken on file by the learned Judicial Magistrate, Fast Track Court, Nagercoil, Kanyakumari District, in S.T.C.No.225 of 2018. He would further submit that the said case is pending on the file of the above referred Court for the past two years. However, as of now, the case is posted for examination of defence side witnesses. 3.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, since the case is pending from the year 2018, it would be appropriate to give some direction to the learned Judicial Magistrate, Fast Track Court, Nagercoil, Kanyakumari District, to dispose of the same within a stipulated period. Accordingly, the learned Judicial Magistrate, Fast Track Court, Nagercoil, Kanyakumari District, is directed to expedite the trial in S.T.C.No.225 of 2018 and complete the trial as early as possible preferably within a period of two months after resuming the regular Court work. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.
