ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed, invoking Section 482 Cr.P.C., seeking orders to direct the respondent to complete the 1/4

investigation in the case in Crime No.660 of 2020 and file a final report before the concerned Court within the time stipulated by this Court. 2.The petitioner is the accused No.2 in Crime No.660 of 2020 and now the grievance of the petitioner is that, even after lapse of three years, investigation has not been completed and final report is filed.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent would submit that based on the complaint lodged by the petitioner, the respondent police registered an FIR in Crime No.660 of 2020 and that the investigation is in progress. He further submitted that so far three witnesses statement were recorded and he seeks five months time to file a final report before the jurisdictional Magistrate Court.

4. Recording the submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, the respondent police is directed to complete the investigation and file a final report in Crime No.660 of 2020 before the jurisdictional Magistrate Court, within a period of five months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
