ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed praying for a Writ of Mandamus directing the second respondent to grant permission to conduct the Conference to be held on 19.01.2014 by the Kamarajar Aathithanar Kazhagam at Sankarankovil Main Road, Kamarajar Nagar, Surandai, Tirunelveli District.

On instructions, the learned Government Advocate submits that first of all, the alleged representation said to have been sent to the respondents have not been received by the respondent Police. Even otherwise, it is a sensitive area and already, three murder case is pending in Alangulam region. Therefore, they may not be in a position to grant permission, because it may lead to law and order problem. 3.

Recording the said submission, this Writ Petition is closed. No costs.
