O R D E R

This petition has been filed by the petitioners to direct the 2nd respondent not to harass the petitioners under the guise of enquiry based on the complaint of the 3rd respondent by considering petitioners representation dated 22.03.2025.

2. According to the petitioners, there is a civil dispute pending between the petitioners and the 3rd respondent and thereby, the 3rd respondent lodged a false complaint against the petitioners. Based on the same, the 2nd respondent frequently called the petitioners for enquiry. Therefore, they sent a representation dated 22.03.2025, but the same has not been considered. Hence this petition.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondents no.1 and 2 would submit that based on the complaint lodged by the 3rd respondent, they called the petitioners for Page No. 2 of 4

enquiry and thereafter, the main petition itself was closed as civil in nature. However, they have not harassed the petitioners as alleged in the petition.

4. Considering the prayer sought for in the petition, this Court without even issuing notice to the 3rd respondent inclined to pass orders in this petition.

5. The prayer of the petitioners is to direct the 2nd respondent not to harass the petitioners and the 2nd respondent police have also denied the alleged harassment and based on the complaint lodged by the 3rd respondent, they called the petitioners for enquiry and the main petition itself was closed as civil in nature. Therefore, nothing survives for further adjudication in this case. In view of the same, this Criminal Original Petition is closed.
