O R D E R

Heard Mr.P.Balamurugan, learned Counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner and Mr.M.Lingadurai, learned Special Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the respondents.

2.The petitioner seeks for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus to direct the second respondent to survey, subdivide and issue separate patta to the petitioner. The petitioner, based on a registered sale deed in her favour and joint Patta standing in the name of the petitioner's vendor, along with two other pattadhar, has sought for survey, subdivision and issuance of separate patta. The petitioner has made an application on 04.03.2025 in this regard and also remitted necessary charges. 3.In view of the limited relief sought for in the Writ Petition, it would suffice to dispose of the Writ Petition directing the second respondent to conduct an enquiry and pass appropriate orders on merits 2/4

and in accordance with law after affording an opportunity to the petitioner for subdivision and issuance of patta and also conduct survey based on the records. It is made clear that in the event of there being any rival claims to title to the subject lands, then the second respondent shall direct the petitioner to approach the competent civil Court. The said exercise shall be carried out within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
