Being aggrieved by the enhancement of the property tax by the 6th respondent, the present writ petition is filed as a public interest litigation.
2. This Court, on perusing the affidavit, finds that it is not a case to be decided as public interest litigation. If at all the petitioner is aggrieved by any enhancement of tax, he has a statutory remedy and has to explore the remedy available under the Act and not short-circuit by camouflaging his relief as a public interest litigation. Hence, this writ petition stands dismissed. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
