The petitioner has filed the present Writ Petition seeking a direction to the respondents 1 and 2 to consider the petitioner's representation dated 19.02.2026 and to pass appropriate orders permitting the conduct of Aarattu (Theerthavari) in the Thamirabarani River at 2/5

Kamuganoor, Kanyakumari District, during the Panguni Aarattu (Theerthavari) festival of the fourth respondent temple for the year 2026 and the succeeding years.

2.When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned standing counsel appearing for the respondents 1 and 4 submitted that the petitioner's representation dated 19.02.2026 has already been considered and rejected by proceedings in Na.Ka.No.941/2010/D1, dated 18.03.2026. 3.In view of the above, this Court is not inclined to issue a direction for reconsideration of the very same representation.
