[Order of the Court was made by K.KALYANASUNDARAM, J.] The prayer in the Habeas Corpus Petition is to direct the respondents to Petitioner's husband/detenu namely, K.Kumaresan, son of Kathamuthu(aged 51 years) before this Court and set him at liberty.

2.Heard the learned counsel appearing on either side and perused the materials placed before this Court. 3.The Petitioner is the wife of the detenu. It is represented that on 12.06.2021, , he was taken by the respondents 1/3

Police for an enquiry in a criminal case, but till now, he is being illegally detained by the second respondent. 4.Mr.S.Ravi, learned Standing Counsel appearing for the State would submit that the detenu in this case is a suspected accused in dacoity and cheating cases. On 12.06.2021, he was taken for the purpose of enquiry and let free on the same day. He further added that the allegations that the detenu was harassed and is being illegally detained by the Second Respondent are false.

5.It is the submission of the learned counsel for the Petitioner that the detenu has now joined with the Petitioner. 6.In the light of the above statements made by the learned counsel appearing on either side, we find no merit in the Habeas Corpus Petition and accordingly, the same stands dismissed.
