ORDER

Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.S.Kumar, learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice for the respondent. By consent, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage.

2.The petitioner seeks for a Mandamus directing the respondent to consider his representation dated 10.02.2015 and to issue no objection certificate to the petitioner for taking part in the examination to be conducted for the post of Sub Inspector of Police. 3.It is stated that the petitioner is presently working as Police Constable Grade II and wants to participate in the selection process to the post of Sub Inspector of Police to be conducted by the Tamil Nadu Uniform Services Recruitment Board. For the said purpose, the petitioner has to get no objection certificate from the respondent. Therefore, he made the above application dated 10.02.2015. As the examination is fastly approaching, the petitioner has approached this Court seeking for the relief as stated supra. 4.Considering the above stated facts and circumstances, the respondent is directed to consider the application of the petitioner dated 10.02.2015 and pass appropriate orders on the same, on merits and in accordance with law, within seven days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5.With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
