O R D E R

This writ petition is filed to direct the respondents to provide 50% of money from his Employees Provident Fund account allotted with code number in TN/32497/18004 by consider the representations of the petitioner dated 18.04.2022 and 05.05.2022.

2. It is the case of the petitioner that he is working as Assistant Engineer in the first respondent Corporation. Further it is submitted that from the date of his appointment, the Corporation deducted Employees Provident Fund Contribution from his salary. Since his daughter's marriage has been fixed on 26.05.2022, he made a representation dated 18.04.2022 to the first and second respondents to permit him to withdraw the amount from his EPF account. Since the same was not considered, he sent another representation to the first respondent dated 05.05.2022. However, no action has been taken on the said representation. Hence, the petitioner has approached this Court with the aforesaid prayer.

3. Heard Mr.P.Balasubramanian, learned Standing counsel appearing for the respondents 1 to 3.

4. Considering the limited scope of the prayer, this Court directs the respondents 1 to 3 to consider the representations of the petitioner dated 18.04.2022 and 05.05.2022 and pass orders on its own merits and in accordance with law within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With this direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
