PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. praying to direct the respondents to afford sufficient police protection to the petitioner.

ORDER

According to the petitioner, he made a representation dated 03.07.2018 to the second respondent for providing police protection. But, so far, the said representation has not been considered. Therefore, the present Criminal Original Petition has been filed. 2.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents would submit that a complaint dated 21.03.2018 has been preferred by the petitioner, seeking police protection and the same was closed. For the very same relief, the present complaint dated 03.07.2018 has been preferred by the petitioner and the same is pending.

3.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court directs the second respondent to consider the said complaint dated 03.07.2018 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
