ORDER

The Writ petition has been filed for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent Bank to consider the petitioner's application dated 03.11.2014 for sanctioning educational loan to the petitioner's son namely, A.Ajayostwald.

2.According to the petitioner, his son viz., A.Ajayostwald, who appeared in counselling conducted by Anna University, was allotted B.E. (Mechanical) under the Transport Employee's quota in the Institute of Road and Transport Techonology, Erode. The petitioner's son is the first person to go for a bachelors degree. But, economical condition of his family is not conducive to spend for his education. Hence, in order to obtain educational loan from the respondent Bank, the petitioner has submitted an application on 03.11.2014. However, till date the respondent Bank has not considered the said application for sanctioning educational loan to the petitioner's son. Hence, the petitioner is constrained to file the present Writ petition for the aforesaid relief. 3.

Today when the matter is taken up for hearing, the respondent Bank has filed a counter affidavit, in which, it is stated that the respondent Bank is ready to give educational loan application form to the petitioner and if the petitioner resubmits the loan application with full details, the respondent Bank is ready to accommodate the petitioner and to provide educational loan, if the petitioner application fulfils the respondent Bank's norms and guidelines.

4.In view of the statement made by the respondent Bank, the petitioner is directed to approach the respondent Bank within a period of one week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and on such approach, the respondent Bank is directed to provide loan application form https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

to the petitioner and consider the same and pass appropriate orders within a period of two weeks from the date of resubmitting the application form by the petitioner.

Accordingly, the Writ petition is disposed of. No costs. Sd/- Assistant Registrar /True Copy/ Sub Assistant Registrar To The Manager, Andra Bank, Elurpatti, Thottiyam TK, Trichy District.
