ORDER

The petitioner seeks issuance of a Writ of Mandamus to direct the second respondent to dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 31.12.2024.

2. I have heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.C.Satheesh, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents.

3. With the consent of the learned counsel appearing on either side, the main writ petition is taken up for final disposal, at the admission stage.

4. According to the petitioner, he has sought for cancellation of patta in Patta No.3738. Without going into the merits of the petitioner's claim/entitlement, considering the limited relief sought for in the writ petition, it would suffice to direct the second respondent to conduct due enquiry and dispose of the petitioner's representation, which has been despatched on 02.01.2025 and received by the second respondent on 2/4

03.01.2025. The said exercise shall be carried out by the second respondent after giving an opportunity to the petitioner and other interested parties, if any, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
