The writ petitioner filed this Writ Petition seeking for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to grant permission to perform the program of Adal Padal program on 15.04.2023 night at about 6.00 pm to 11.00 pm at Sri Oliya Nayaki Amman Temple festival Eechampatti Village, Maravamadurai Post, Ponnamaravathi Taluk, Pudukkottai District, and to provide adequate police protection based on the petitioner's representation dated 01.04.2023. 2.Mr.R.Sureshkumar, learned Government Advocate (Crl. side), takes notice for the respondents.

3.It is brought to the notice of this Court that on 08.04.2023, a murder took place in such a type of event in Keeranur Sub Division. Therefore, there shall be a direction to the respondents to reject the petitioner's representation without any reference to this Court. 2/4

4.With the above directions, this writ petition is dismissed. No costs.
