ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by J. NISHA BANU, J.) This Writ Petition is filed seeking issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 26.03.2025 and to enlarge his father namely Ottakulathan @ Kandhasami @ Mauniyandi, S/o.Muthappan @ Karuppaya, life convict (C.P.No.75221) and his brother namely Muthuselvam, S/o.Kandhasamy, life convict (CP No.319461) confined at the third respondent's prison on parole for the period of 6 days to participate in the ritual doings of his child tonsuring ceremony on 11.04.2025. 2.Heard the learned counsel appearing on either side and perused the materials placed before this Court.

3.The request made on behalf of the life convicts for ordinary leave has been rejected by the authorities vide communications in No.6105/ThaKu. 2/2025 and No.6201/ThaKu.2/2025, dated 02.04.2025. Therefore the writ of Mandamus to consider the request for grant of ordinary leave to the petitioner's father and his brother has become infructuous in view of the rejection order. 4.Hence, the Writ Petition stands dismissed.
