ORDER

Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.S.Kumar, learned Additional Government Pleader who takes notice for the respondents. By consent, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage.

2.The petitioner seeks for a Mandamus to direct the respondents to include the name of the petitioner in the panel dated 29.09.2014 prepared for Superintendent promotion for the year 2013-2014 at Serial No.20 next to her immediate senior who is at Serial No.19 and grant promotion to the petitioner as Superintendent along with her immediate juniors by considering her representation dated 21.12.2014 and to grant all benefits.

3.Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that even though a larger relief is sought for in this writ petition, it would suffice, if the representation made by petitioner dated 21.12.2014 is directed to be considered by the first respondent through which the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

petitioner is seeking to include her name in the panel for promotion to the post of Superintendent.

4.Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of without expressing any view on the merits of the claim made by the petitioner, only by directing the first respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 21.12.2014 and pass appropriate orders on the same, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs. Consequently, M.P (MD)No.1 of 2015 is closed.
