Prayer:- Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of Writ of Certiorari and Mandamus, to call for the impugned order as passed by the 1st Respondent made in Reference Procs No. 002/CCC/EC1/RC-TVL/CS/Estt.NT/2022 dated 30.03.2022 and subsequently set aside the same as illegal and devoid of merits and consequently direct the Respondents to confirm the service of the Petitioner in the post of the Assistant Librarian which is the teaching post as per the classification forthwith.

Heard Mr.T.Aswin Rajasimman, learned counsel appearing for the Petitioner and Mr.John Rajadurai, learned Standing Counsel appearing for the Respondents.

This Writ Petition has been filed under the Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Certiorari and Mandamus, to quash the impugned order passed by the 1st Respondent in Reference Procs No.002/CCC/EC1/RC-TVL/CS/Estt.NT/2022 dated 30.03.2022 2/8

and consequently direct the Respondents to confirm the service of the Petitioner in the post of the Assistant Librarian forthwith. 3.

Mr.T.Aswin Rajasimman, learned counsel for the Petitioner submits that the facts of the case are fully covered by the identical judgment and order passed by the Division Bench of this Court in the case of S.Muthukumar, S/o.S.Shankar, No.9/47, Elango St.

B.Dharmathupatti, Mela Chokkanathapuram Post, Bodinayakanur, and others Vs The Registrar, Anna University, Sardar Patel Road, Chennai - 25 and others, in W.A.Nos.898 of 2021 etc., batch dated 01.04.2025. A copy of the said judgment is produced before this Court and taken on record.

The learned counsel further submits that in pursuance to the impugned order dated 30.03.2022 passed by the 1st Respondent, the petitioner has submitted a representation dated 28.04.2022 to the 1st Respondent to settle her claim; as no action was taken thereon, the present writ petition has been filed.

Mr. John Rajadurai, learned Standing Counsel for the respondents, submits that he needs to verify the judgment and order passed by the Division Bench dated 01.04.2025 in W.A. Nos. 898 of 2021 etc. batch. If the present case is squarely covered by the judgment cited supra, the petitioner may be permitted to file a fresh representation before the respondents, outlining her grievances by annexing the copy of the earlier representation dated 28.04.2022 and the judgment passed by the Division Bench dated 01.04.2025 in W.A. Nos. 898 of 2021 etc. batch, within the time frame fixed by this Court. The respondents may then be directed to pass a reasoned and speaking order on the fresh representation filed by the petitioner within the time frame fixed by this Court.

Mr.T.Aswin Rajasimman, the learned counsel for the Petitioner, agreed to the submissions made by the learned Standing Counsel for the Respondents and submits that the Petitioner is willing to file a fresh representation before the Respondents. It is prayed that this Court may direct the 1st Respondent to decide the representation by passing a reasoned and speaking order, in accordance with law, within a stipulated timeframe.

After considering the submissions made by the learned counsels for both parties and perusing the records and averments made in the Writ Petition, this Court deems it appropriate that no useful purpose will be served in keeping this Writ Petition pending before this Court. 8.

Accordingly, the Petitioner is directed to file a fresh representation before the 1st Respondent/The Registrar (I/C), Anna University, Sardarpatel Road, Guindy, Chennai - 600 025, detailing her claim and grievances, annexing therewith a certified copy of this order and a copy of her earlier representation dated 28.04.2022 along with the judgment judgment passed by the Division Bench dated 01.04.2025 in W.A.Nos.898 of 2021 etc. batch, within a period of ten days from today. If any such representation is filed by the Petitioner before the 1st Respondent as per the time stipulated by this Court, the 1st Respondent/The Registrar (I/C), Anna University, Sardarpatel Road, Guindy, Chennai - 600 025, is directed to consider the same and pass a reasoned and speaking order on merits and in accordance with law, after giving sufficient opportunity to the Petitioner, within a period of 5/8

six weeks from the date of receipt of such representation. The 1st Respondent shall communicate the order/decision to the Petitioner through Registered Post with Acknowledgement Due (RPAD) within a period of two weeks from the date of passing the order/decision. 9.

With the above directions, this Writ Petition is finally disposed of. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
