PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. praying to direct the second respondent police to register the case on the basis of the complaint dated 25.11.2017. For Petitioner : Mr.S.Prasanth For Respondents : Mr.K.K.Ramakrishnan, Additional Public Prosecutor.

ORDER

According to the petitioner, she has preferred a complaint to the respondent police against the proposed accused. But so far, no action has been taken on the said complaint. Hence, the petitioner is before this Court with the aforesaid prayer. 2.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents would submit that the complaint of the petitioner has been referred to the District Social Welfare Officer on 14.06.2018. After receiving report from the District Social Welfare Officer, further action will be taken by the respondent police.

3.In the light of the above, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. However, if the petitioner has any grievance, it is always open to her to raise her objections at a later point of time.
